Traffic Conversion Tips Part III of III

Traffic Conversion Tip # 11
Placing anchor tags through out your site linked to your order page, testimonials (or reviews), bonuses, and benefits is a sure fire way to up that conversion rate.
You’ve probably noticed on some of the well-known marketer’s websites that they are putting a link to their order page through out their site. Why? Because they are putting the money jar (the order page) in front of them as often as they can! You can also do this with testimonials, bonuses and benefits.
For instance when you are writing your ad copy for your salesletter and you are trying to prove that your product is the best. After you make the statement about how great your product is put a link to your testimonials right after it.
Example:
Top online marketers are using (your product) and they can’t get enough of it. Just read my testimonials to see what they are saying!
You can also use an anchor tag to show that you are over delivering on your customer’s purchase.
Example: Not only will you get (your product) for the low price of $47 but you’ll also get these exciting bonuses.
By exposing your visitor to something over and over again, you are giving them more chances to take the action you want them to take.
Traffic Conversion Tip # 12
You can also increase your conversion rate by offering your product to people leaving your site. Use an exit pop-up to offer them your product at a lower price.
If you can’t offer it to them at a lower price, use an exit pop-up to offer them a free gift in exchange for their contact information. At least in this way you are getting their information so that you can contact them again in the future.
Traffic Conversion Tip #13
Get a 1-800 number. There are several services now that will give you a 1-800 number for about the same price as you pay for long distance. It used to be very expensive, but now days you can get one relatively cheap.
By having a 1-800 number you look more professional and people are more apt to call you when it’s on YOUR dime and not their dime.
What if you had a product that sold for $197, and someone came to your site. They wanted to purchase your product, but like the typical person wanted answers NOW. If you had a 1-800 number they could call, you could answer their questions and make the sale right on the phone!
Here’s an extra little tip I have discovered about having a 1-800 number. If you have a customer that comes to your site, has answers about your product, calls your 1-800 number, and you answer all their questions and get them to buy, guess what? That customer is 99.9% more likely to buy from you again than customers who purchase off your website. Why? Because they feel like they know you.
Traffic Conversion Tip #14
We’ve all heard about autoresponders, but here’s a powerful way to use one. If you do offline advertising of any sort (radio commercials, tv commercials, public speaking, etc.) instead of putting your website in and ad or giving it out, give them your autoresponder email address.
Example: A client of mine has a construction business. I just developed a radio commercial for him. He wanted to put his website in the radio ad. I talked him into letting me set up an autoresponder series for him and giving out the email to it instead.
Not only does his information get delivered to his potential customers, but he has their contact information so he can contact them at any time!
This is a very powerful tip and there’s about a 100 different ways you can use it!
Traffic Conversion Tip #15
The last conversion tip I would like to share with you deals with emails you send. The From field and Subject field are the two most important parts of your email. If they don’t grab your reader, your email will never get opened.
The From filed should be your “brand” do you brand yourself with your name or your product name? You shouldn’t use anything else besides your “brand” in the From field of your email.
Subject Line should be your headline. Make it short and snappy. Use it to create curiosity to get your email opened.
Example:
Hey, Name, I just had to share this secret with you.
That’s a short and snappy headline that creates curiosity.
By using a tracking url in your emails you can test different subject lines. If you are seeing that more people are opening your emails with certain subject lines, modify it a little and use it again!
Well, that’s it for the traffic conversion tips series. The only way to know what works for your site is to TEST! You must test any changes you make to your site. Keep what works and throw out what does NOT work. If you don’t test, you’ll never know how much profit your site CAN pull!

For the past two years, one of the best SEO inclusion tactics was the use of blogs. Blogs have become a base standard in SEO marketing, but as times change, so does the efficacy of any tactic.
With that said what worked two years ago certainly isnt the same thing thats working now. The worst part is that uninformed marketers are still teaching the old methods of SEO marketing with blogs to the masses.
In this article, you will be enlightened to the newest form of SEO marketing with blogs.
Lets begin by eliminating a huge fallacy.
The blog and ping is a process by which you post a snippet of information from your site to a blog (mainly blogger.com) with a URL to your site included, and then notify Yahoo that a post exists on this blog. The idea is that your blog will be spidered quickly by both Google (due to blogger.com) and Yahoo.
You only need to blog and ping a maximum of 10 pages from your site. The entire purpose for doing this is to attract search engines to your site and let them spider the rest of your site on their own. You can equate this process to renting links. You simply rent one link to your site in order to get the spiders to visit your site.
Unfortunately money hungry marketers came along, didnt understand the concept, and then took it upon themselves to teach people that every page on your site required blogging and pinging. To top it off, these same uninformed marketers began teaching their followers that three pages should be processed every 15 minutes.
The blog and ping isnt as effective as it was a year ago because of these numbskulls.
With that said, it was time for the process to evolve. Its efficacy was diminished due to misuse and misguided education.
So where has it evolved to?
Its evolved into an organic blog that grows of its own. This blogging system receives its data from remote sources and posts on a consistent, yet infrequent basis. It pulls usable and visitor friendly data from a variety of sources, while still hosting the links you want found by the search engines. This blog informs over 50 blog directories every time an automated post is made, making it extremely valuable to the search engine algorithms.
How is this accomplished?
First, you need Wordpress (wordpress.org) and RSS to Blog (www.stealthtrafficsecrets.com/rsstoblog.html). Once youve downloaded both of these, make sure you install them.
Once installed, configure Wordpress per the instructions found here: www.stealthtrafficsecrets.com/wordpress-tricks/.
Second, create a list of links from your site which will be used in this new hybrid blog and ping tactic. One of the bonuses for RSS to Blog is a tool that does this automatically for you.
Third, add these harvested links to the RSS to Blog system and hit save. Set your cron to post out as often as you like and youre done.
Thats it in a nutshell.
There are a couple of additional points I need to make,
First, when using RSS to Blog you also have the ability to add additional data from other sources in order to make your Wordpress blog readable by the masses.
Second, the Wordpress tricks book gives you the knowledge to make your blog more search engine friendly as well as providing a list of blog directories that are automatically notified every time you make an entry.
With this tactic revealed, its my intention for you to enjoy the quick search engine inclusion that comes as a result of implementation.

Well one… Should I promote it or not, and of course since #1 it was a great product and #2 I was getting a heck of an offer for promoting it, I jumped right on it.
If you make sure that every joint venture proposition you send out does everything that I just told you, you are sure to succeed with joint ventures.
Make your proposal a complete presentation. Stand out and be UNIQUE. I know myself and many Internet marketers get tons of joint venture offers each and every day. You’ve got to stand out to get attention. The next time you are putting together a joint venture proposal, make sure you stand out above all the rest!

Content site kick off…

Okay, the content site is live… Well partially… Here is what has been going on with it.
In my post here, I told you about the 7 main keywords I would be focusing on. Now for each of those 7 keywords, I will have sub-keywords.
Here is the break down:
The front page will focus on all 7 of my main keywords, so the content for the front page will be focused on:

Then each page will have it’s own keywords like this: (Main keywords are in bold. The sub keywords are under them.)

Now, it is very easy to create content for each of these words/phrases. All you need to do is do a www.google.com search for each one and basically just write a 600-1000 word book report on them. Yes, it is VERY time consuming but in this way you can #1 have unique content and #2 have content that meets your needs exactly. Good luck finding content that focuses on one of these words at a time.
Well, I cheated a bit. I just don’t have time to write articles for all of these keywords so I ran over (not literally :)) to http://www.Guru.com and found myself a freelance writer, and boy is she good! For $150 she is writing 20 articles for me. Once for each keyword. Yes, I know I have more than 20, but I got really lucky and when I told her I had a few too many keywords she said that she would do them also. Am I lucky to have found her or what? What’s her name? Sorry, can’t tell you that one. Find your own writer this lady is mine. She is an INCREDIBLE writer.
Currently there is only one article on the site. My writer is working on the rest of the content, and as more is posted I will post the URL’s here. By posting the URL’s here I am blogging and pinging, and you know what? It’s not content puke and I didn’t have to pay $97 or $197 to do it. By blogging about the sites you are building, you are getting your site crawled by the search engines. So here is the URL http://www.scrapbookinghome.com/free-scrapbooking.htm As of right this moment, this URL is NOT indexed in Google or Yahoo. Let’s give it 48 hours and see if it is now that I’ve “blogged” it… I’ve done all the SEO (white hat of course
) techniques you are supposed to do, so hopefully the search engines will pick me up.
Remember when building your content sites. Search engines don’t index sites, they index pages, and so you MUST make sure that EACH page has had the necessary SEO done on them.

Well, I’ve been a little scarce lately; so let me catch everyone up….
First I am doing the Underachievers Month. If you haven’t heard about it, it started in on July 1st and ends on July 31st. The challenge is to make $1 in 30 days. Easy you say… Well, how much have you made this month?
