The One Traffic Tool Every Product Owner Should Be Using Daily

What if there was a magic bottle that you could rub and a traffic genie would pop out to beckon to your every internet marketing command?

After the initial shock wore off, you’d be quite happy to have it in your possession, right? :-)

Well, in a manner of speaking, such a genie exists. She exists in the form of an “affiliate manager”.

An “affiliate manager” is someone who oversees the operations of an affiliate program in exchange for compensation.

And, out of all the traffic “tools” on the market, the affiliate manager is the one that you should be using daily in your business if you own your own product.

Why?

The bottom line is: more traffic, which results in more revenue for you.

But, specifically, there are 3 reasons why you need an affiliate manager…

1. Recruiting.

Your affiliate manager can recruit new affiliates into your program for you. Instead of you spending time trying to find (and then convince!) affiliates to join your program, your “affman” can do this for you while you focus on other things.

2. Rewarding.

Everyone knows that simply getting people to join your affiliate program is not enough. It takes a lot of effort to get passive affiliates to become (and stay!) active. An affiliate manager is responsible for motivating your team to remain involved in your promotions.

3. Running.

Beyond getting affiliates into your program and making sure they stay active, your affiliate manager can “run” as much of your operations as you want her to. Here are just a few things my affiliate manager (props to Nicole!) does…

* Creates training materials
* Write follow-up mailings
* Communicates with affiliates
* Answer affiliate support questions
* Monitors contests and incentive programs
* Posts to our blog
* Clerical stuff (creates rebrandable files, etc.)
* Circulates content (article directories, etc.)

I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

Perhaps the best part of hiring an affiliate manager is the fact that it doesn’t have to cost you a penny in out of pocket expenses. That is, you can setup your agreement to be performance-based: you pay the affiliate manager a percentage of the overall revenue generated through her efforts … the more revenue she brings in through the affiliate program, the more she earns.

Now, the question is –

** Where do I find an affiliate manager? **

There are actually quite a few ways to find quality (emphasis needs to be on “QUALITY!”) affiliate managers for your program. Let me share just one…

One of the easiest ways to find an affiliate manager is to visit your favorite affiliate marketing (or internet marketing) forum and post a request asking for recommendations or responses for your needs.

You can do this in two ways -

1. Post a PUBLIC Request.

That is, you post a message for everyone to see, with brief details on the position you have available and that you are seeking recommendations or interest to explore further.

2. Post a PRIVATE Request.

The other option is to identify those participants at the forum who appear to have experience and/or knowledge in affiliate marketing who might be good affiliate manager material. Then, you would simply contact them privately to see if there is interest in discussing your needs.

Running your own affiliate program is a tremendous traffic generation tool, but it has a lot of parts. There are many different activities that are involved in successfully running an affiliate program, and hiring an affiliate manager to oversee your operations is a great way to free up your time to work on creating additional products and other “creative” work.

A good affiliate manager can bring in affiliates, train and motivate them, and run your operations for you. Her efforts bring in the traffic; your efforts turn the traffic into orders.

It’s the closest thing to a traffic genie in a bottle that you’ll find. Rubbing is optional. Using this strategy isn’t.

Are EBook Empires Real?

Well the end of summer is here, and it’s time to get my head back “into the game”. If you’ve been reading my emails lately, you know that there have been a lot of changes to my business, and what I will be teaching you…

I’ve turned more towards teaching you ways to create streams of income that will allow you to work less. It’s time that someone steps up and shows you the these things so that you can make money and still have time to do the things you love…

What we’re going to be talking about over the next few weeks is how you can become a project manager for your own ebook empire. We’re going to talk about having others create your ebooks for you, how to get others to create your ebook sites for you, how to have one central support desk where you have someone run that for you. Your only job will be to market the site.

If you could turn your focus to just marketing (which is essentially driving traffic) sites that you create, and leaving the rest to everyone else, you could make MORE money and work less.

I have several niche sites that I sell ebooks from. These are niches that I know nothing about, and I don’t have to because I have others create the ebooks for me. I then have my copywriter write the sales letter, my webmaster put the site together for me, and my only job is to market the sites.

This allows me to have several of these sites making me money around the clock…

A New Rich Shefren?

If many of you remember several months back we were bombarded with Rich Shefren everything. I’m sure you remember it… A lot of INCREDIBLE information came out from him. It was great… It was all to sell his coaching stuff though… Nothing wrong with that. Absolutely nothing at all. He’s incredible and he has changed lives. More power to him…

Well it looks like the exact same thing is going to start happening again… This time it’s not Rich though. It’s a man named Eben Pagan…

He’s released a ton of different videos that are incredible. I’ve posted the first three videos I have watched below.

Before you run off and watch them though, this is for a special breed of people. 3 Keys to Greater Profits From Any Opt-In Email List

You’ve worked hard to build a list.

And you’d like to make more money from it.

Am I right so far?

Great! Just wanted to make certain that I’m not losing my touch. :-)

Your optin email list can be the single biggest money-maker you possess, if you just follow three simple keys…

Key 01 -> Provide Genuine Value To Your List Members.

Seems like a no-brainer, right? Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of list owners miss out from the beginning.

They’re left at the starting gate while the rest of the pack moves ahead.

If you don’t provide “genuine value” to your list members you simply won’t make money from your list.

Folks will either unsubscribe, or they’ll stop reading your mailings.

Either way, you lose.

There are a gazillion (yes, I counted) lists available, so if you don’t give them the goods, …they’ll simply move on to someone who will.

So, first things first, you gotta provide genuine value to your list members.

That consists of two things:

- Original content. While it’s certainly acceptable to reprint other people’s content in your publication, you absolutely MUST have your own voice as well.

People join YOUR list. They want to hear from YOU.

I consider it *critical* that you publish your own original articles, tips, ideas … I.E. “information” in each publication you send out to your list.

After all, if they can get it elsewhere, why join your list at all?

- Useful content. The second part of providing genuine value to your subscribers is to offer “useful” content.

When it comes to information, “Value” = “Usefulness.”

How valuable content is to a person is directly related to how useful they find that information.

Your content needs to be APPLICABLE. Give your subscribers information they can use and they’ll give you their attention, and ultimately their business.

Key 02 -> Send Promotional Mailings Regularly.

One of the most shocking discoveries that I ever made in my work with email marketing is this:

**If you don’t send promotional mailings regularly, your response rates will go down dramatically.**

Trust me. I’ve tested it. So have a lot of other people.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about sending out solo mailings five times a day.

That’s a shortcut to failure there.

But, at the same time, sending out promotional mailings at a very infrequent, sporadic pace is a shortcut to failure as well.

Either way, you ain’t gettin’ paid.

They key is balance.

As a very “general” rule of thumb, one promotional mailing (I.E. “solo mailing”) per week seems to produce the best results.

Test for yourself. Your list may be different.

Regardless of the frequency you decide upon,it absolutely needs to be REGULAR.

Consistency in regularity.

Key 03 -> Verify Your Subscribers Are Receiving Your Mailings.

Without question, this is the most often overlooked key to email profits of them all.

There is no substitute for this one. If your list members aren’t receiving your email messages…stick a fork in yourself, because “you’re done.”

You can have great content and send out those solo mailings like clockwork, but if no one on the other end of the line is getting them, it’s a waste of your time.

Research shows that as few as 10% of the total subscribers on any given list may actually be receiving the messages.

If you’re getting poor results from your offers, then the first place I’d look is to make certain your subscribers are actually receiving and reading your email messages.

Bottom line: If you really want to make money from your optin email list, all it takes is…

Consistency in QUALITY. Consistency in REGULARITY. Consistency in DELIVERY.

Those three keys add up to one thing: Greater profits for YOU
