Friday, January 4th, 2008Today I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Frank Sousa. I’d always heard that Frank was a really nice guy, but as soon as you hear Frank’s voice, you know you’re dealing with a super nice guy. 
I was in the middle of some product creation stuff and needed an link immediately to be able to finish the product up. I had my affiliate manager (and husband too) Jamie Bing call Frank up and get the affiliate link.
In no time Frank had me hooked up, and told me tons about his product too to help me better educate my readers. Frank knows I’m a “content queen” so he filled me full of content.
Why am I telling you this?
First off to give Frank a “shout out” for helping me out, and second to show you that picking up the phone and helping someone is a great way to build your business.
I’ll be promoting Frank’s product now. I know a lot about it (even more than before), and Frank even told me about something else that would be good for my readers. So, potentially Frank is going to get two promotions from me, and now that I’ve talked to him personally he can pick up the phone any time he needs to and I’ll help him out.
I keep preaching about relationship building, and this is just case in point.
No Frank’s not my best bud now, but we’ve both started the foundation to a great relationship that I’m sure will benefit us both greatly now and in the future.
So, pick up the phone today and give someone a call. No, don’t waste their time. Have something you want to help them with, and work on giving before you get!
That’s the key to my success in this business and if you really grasp anything I teach you, this needs to be the biggy. Give before you get, and you’ll get A LOT!

Meeting Jack…
Thursday, April 5th, 2007While in Orlando, I had the pleasure to meet Jack Humphrey at JV Alert Live. He was there for the Stomper stuff that was going on at the same time. Jack is a totally cool cat, and really knows his stuff when it comes to traffic and creating sites full of content that suck visitors right in.
Recently, I had the pleasure of ready “Authority Black Book” which Jack is insanely giving away for free. Not hype, just the God’s honest truth. This is the best ever resource I’ve laid eyes on about getting traffic with Web 2.0 methods. Jack explains it all so well that this anti-geek even got it.:)

Now we all know that when someone is giving something away they are always wanting to sell something too, and Jack is only different in that what he’s giving away doesn’t totally suck. It “ROCKS OUT LOUD”! What he’s selling though is mind blowing… I’m not an affiliate and I get nothing for telling you about this site, but as a “website lover” it’s my duty. That and you read my blog so you somewhat care what I think.
Jack runs a site at www.authoritysitecenter.com/letter.htm I REALLY REALLY wish I was a slime bag marketer and could rip off what he’s doing hear and sell it to you for 10x as much, but 1. I’m not a slime bag and 2. with what they are giving you here, and teaching you, I could NEVER top it.
I know my stuff about creating great content sites that make me a load of cash, but I am a geek (one in hiding but a geek none the less) so I have lots of techy experience, a programmer who could probably nuke the popcorn in your microwave if he wanted, and more software, domains, and hosting than I could ever possibly use.
But…
If you don’t have all the above, I recommend you go to www.authoritysitecenter.com/letter.htm Read the sales letter word for word twice. Watch the videos where Jack shows you what you’re getting and grab a membership. This is HUGE. Absolutely no one is doing what Jack is doing here and if you have any interest at all in creating a few (yes, I said a few) authority sites and making a butt load of cash then this is so for you…

I Finally Met Sherman Hu…
Thursday, March 22nd, 2007For about 2 years now I’ve been talking back and forth with Sherman Hu. During this time we’ve become great friends, and I will be the first to admit that Sherman is an amazing person.
He’s also got an incredible mind, and when it comes to blogging and SEO, he’s hands down the “go to guy”. Sherman has an incredible site over at WordPress Tutorials where anyone can start learning to blog. He’s even got some great stuff in there on podcasts and vlogs too, so don’t miss that either.
When I first logged into the site, I was totally blown away. I have learned more about blogging from Sherman than any other person around. When we get on the phone we talk about our personal lives, but we contactly pick each others brains. We could record these calls and sell them for big time bucks I am sure… (Hey there’s a thought, Sherman.)
Okay, this isn’t a sales pitch for Sherman, it’s basically just a “shout out”, personal marker in the history book of Liz Tomey for finally getting to meet Sherman.
