I haven’t forgotten…
By LizTomey | June 22, 2005
Hi All!
Way back on the 1st of May, I started talking about doing a niche content site and using Adsense for revenue off the site. See my post at http://www.liztomey.com/?p=16
I’ve been reading and reading and reading… Still not TOTALLY sure what I am going to do, but all of this reading and reading and reading is doing nothing, so now it’s time to take action….
I have the domain name… http://www.scrapbookinghome.com and I have hosting for it. There’s those two things out of the way…
My next step will be doing some keyword research…. I need to:
1. Find the most searched for keywords in the scrapbooking niche
2. Make a page for each keyword I pick. The page for each keyword will need to be specific to that keyword, so I am probably going to take the advice of Andy Williams and Paul Short and create my own content. Search engines LOVE original content. I may use some RSS feeds and other feeds also. (I’ll explain more about that when I get to this step.)
3. Get each page of the site totally optomized for the search engines.
4. Hopefully site back and watch my adsense revenue climb.
Looks like my work is cut out for me… If any of you have comments you might want to make or tips, please do so. I need all the help I can get on this new adventure.
I’ll keep everyone updated on every step I take with this project so hopefully you can do the same!
Until next time…
Liz
